Pedal is designed for collaboration among nonprofit executives, staff, board members, consultants, and other authorized users.
Organization administrators control access permissions within their organizations.
Pedal is not responsible for permissions granted by administrators or for information shared among authorized users.
Organizations are responsible for determining what information should be available to board members, staff members, consultants, and other users.
Users invited to an organization's workspace agree to these Terms when they accept the invitation.

You are responsible for:
- ensuring the accuracy of information submitted to the Services

Pedal does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI generated outputs.

Pedal will not sell identifiable customer data.
Pedal will not intentionally disclose information that identifies a specific organization or individual without permission, except as required by law or necessary to provide the Services.
9. Beta Services
The Services may include beta, pilot, preview, early access, or testing features.
Beta Services may contain bugs, interruptions, errors, security vulnerabilities, or incomplete functionality.
Pedal may modify, suspend, or discontinue Beta Services at any time without notice.
Beta program benefits described on our website, such as dedicated support or priority access to new features, are offered at Pedal's discretion and may change.
10. Fees, Trials, and Renewal
Pricing for paid plans is published on our website. Fees are based on your organization's annual operating budget and are billed in advance, annually or monthly, through our payment processor.
Trials. New organizations may start with a free trial of the length stated when you sign up. If you provide a payment method, your subscription begins automatically when the trial ends and the card on file is charged, unless you cancel before then. If your trial does not require a payment method and you do not add one before it ends, the trial ends and access to the Services is paused.
Introductory pricing. Where an introductory price is offered, it applies to your first paid year. The regular price applies after that and is shown to you before you subscribe.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then current price for your plan until canceled.
Cancellation and refunds. An organization administrator may cancel at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid are not refunded and partial periods are not prorated, except where required by law.
Payment failures. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may pause access to the Services until payment succeeds.
Sponsored subscriptions. Some organizations receive Pedal through a code provided by a foundation or other sponsor. During the sponsored period the sponsor pays for your subscription. We may ask for a payment method when you redeem the code; it is charged only when the sponsored period ends, at the price shown when you redeem, unless you cancel before then.
11. Third Party Services
The Services rely on third party providers, including payment processing by Stripe, optional sign in with Google, AI model providers, and analytics and monitoring providers such as Google Analytics, PostHog, and LangSmith. The providers we use and the information they receive are listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of a third party's service through Pedal, such as paying with a card through Stripe or signing in with Google, is also subject to that provider's terms.
12. Pedal Personnel Access
A small number of Pedal staff can access customer organization data in order to provide support, operate the Services, and check the quality of our AI features. That access is limited to staff who need it for those purposes.
13. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, recommendations, or feedback regarding the Services, Pedal may use such feedback without restriction or compensation.
14. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate applicable laws
- upload malicious code
- interfere with operation of the Services
- attempt unauthorized access to the Services
- reverse engineer the Services except where prohibited by law
- use the Services in a manner that infringes the rights of others
15. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, design, branding, content, and technology, are owned by Pedal or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEDAL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEDAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
PEDAL'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO PEDAL DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
18. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Pedal may suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are violated or if continued access would create risk for Pedal or other users.
If your subscription ends or your organization is closed, we deactivate the organization and retain its records as described in our Privacy Policy so that it can be restored. Files you uploaded are deleted from file storage 90 days after upload. An organization administrator may request an export or deletion of the organization's data by contacting privacy@pedaltogether.com.
19. Changes to These Terms
Pedal may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
